The Pont du Gard
The Pont du Gard is a 48 metre-high triple-level aqueduct built by the Romans in the 1st century to supply water to the city of Nîmes. A remarkable piece of architecture from the Roman era, it is now the most visited ancient site in France and a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site

The city of Orange
UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Roman Amphitheatre of Orange is the best preserved theatre in Europe and certainly one of the most beautiful Roman sites in the region.
Built under the reign of Augustus and designed to seat 8000 spectators, it was instrumental in disseminating the Roman culture and language, through comedies, tragedies, juggling acts and other performances.
Nowadays, the amphitheatre is the venue for "Les Chorégies", a world-renowned opera festival.
Other sites not to be missed are the Arc de Triomphe and the Museum of Art and History.

The Glanum archaeological site
An Ancient Roman city at the gates of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, destroyed by the barbarian invasions, buried and forgotten until 1920, when excavations began.
