Lavender or lavandin?
There's actually an easy way of telling them apart - the fine lavender produced by wild plants only grows at 700 metres and above.
Then, you simply count the number of rows of flowers on the sprigs. If there are fewer than 9 rows, it is fine lavender; more than 9 and it's lavandin.
