Lake Salettes

If you are more easily charmed by pretty, peaceful spots than by beaches frequented by all tourists , you will find at Near the center of Mormoiron , the Lac des Salettes is a popular spot, frequented mainly by locals who enjoy a game of pétanque . Intimate, pleasant, and family-friendly, this swimming spot in the Ventoux region is like a well-kept secret whispered to close friends. You'll find ample parking and picnic tables for enjoying lunch with your toes in the sand. Don't hesitate to stop for a snack at the snack bar, which offers fries and refreshing drinks. Swimming is supervised during the summer.

Lake Paty

Lake Paty is ideal for a relaxing day trip, soothed by the sounds of Provence from the cicadas and the scent of cedar wood . The setting and the view, in the heart of nature, are simply superb . Lake Monteux

If you're looking for a place that can please as many people as possible, children and parents alike, then Lake Monteux is certainly a good compromise.   Here, you can choose between settling down on the small pebble beach or on a sun lounger on the private beach, basking in the sun with a book, or taking a stroll around the lake and crossing the pretty wooden walkways that wind through the reeds. You can also enjoy the many activities offered on site: paddleboarding, pedal boats, a fitness park, water obstacle courses, water skiing, or inflatable games.   !

Prato Beach

In Pernes-les-Fontaines, the private lake of Prato Plage is a perfect destination for those dreaming of relaxation . Straw parasols and sun loungers face clear, transparent water that makes you want to dive right in. You can enjoy a delicious break between swims at the snack bar, which offers drinks, cocktails, ice cream, crepes, and waffles.

Swimming pools open in the summer in the Ventoux region

For those who don't like the feeling of sand on their skin and prefer knowing that a lifeguard is constantly monitoring swimmers, here are some swimming pools that open in the summer:

• The Beaumes-de-Venise swimming pool , open every day from mid-June to mid-September.

• The Bédoin swimming pool , open every day from mid-June to the end of August.

• The Carpentras aquatic center is open every day from June 10th to the end of August, except for June 16th due to a competition. In Carpentras, an indoor swimming pool is also open for a good part of the year, from mid-September to the end of May.

• The Sault swimming pool , open every day from July to August.

• The swimming pool in Villes sur Auzon , open every day from July to August.
